Rural Municipality of Weyburn No. 67

The Rural Municipality of Weyburn No. 67 (2016 population: 1,064) is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 2 and SARM Division No. 1. It is located in the southeast portion of the province.

The RM of Weyburn No. 67 incorporated as a rural municipality on December 13, 1909.

In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Weyburn No. 67 had a population of 1,103 living in 392 of its 427 total private dwellings, a change of 3.7% from its 2016 population of 1,064. With a land area of 808.5 km² (312.2 sq mi), it had a population density of 1.4/km² (3.5/sq mi) in 2021.

In the 2016 Census of Population, the RM of Weyburn No. 67 recorded a population of 1,064 living in 383 of its 418 total private dwellings, a 1.5% change from its 2011 population of 1,048. With a land area of 808.33 km² (312.10 sq mi), it had a population density of 1.3/km² (3.4/sq mi) in 2016.

Government

The RM of Weyburn No. 67 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Wednesday of every month. The reeve of the RM is Norm McFadden while its administrator is Jenna Smolinski. The RM's office is located in Weyburn.
